Mrs. Saundra Morris began teaching in the theology department at Memorial in 1998.  She came to us from a successful teaching career at Holy Redeemer Primary School, and so has a wide background in education.  Here at Memorial, she has taught both freshman and juniors, and from time to time, has also taught The Bible in Depth.  Currently, Mrs. Morris teaches junior theology, and a couple classes of freshman.  In the classroom, she is dedicated to helping students resolve moral and social issues.  She also has a special concern for Right to Life Issues, and is a coordinator of Teens for Life at Memorial.  Other projects which are important to her and to which she willingly gives her time, include school-wide food drives for the needy and Christmas projects to help underprivileged families.  Mrs. Morris has served on several diocesan committees regarding religious education, and assisted in the final stages of development of the Religious Education Profile which is used as a high school assessment tool throughout the Diocese.  She is quite willing to spend extra hours at school to help students and to promote worthwhile causes.  Finally, Mrs. Morris is involved in high-level, continuing education in religious studies.  She is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association.

"Each one of you has received a special grace.
So, like good stewards responsible for all these different graces of God,
put yourselves at the service of others."
